I was delighted to attend the USF World Fulbright Celebration Event, the annual reception that recognizes Fulbright Scholars from USF and the Fulbright Scholars from abroad whom we welcome to our campuses.
Proud to say that USF has once again been named a "Top Producer" of Fulbrighters
special shout out to our Fulbright Advisor, Dr. Darlene DeMarie for her contributions to that metric as a mentor of faculty applicants
and to our fearless USF World Vice President Kiki Caruson
The keynote speaker was the President of IIE -- Jason Czyz
also - I had the opportunity to welcome back our new USF President Moez Limayem - my first time seeing him on campus since he returned to USF as President.
I was honored to receive one of the USF World Fulbright Medals at the ceremony, in honor of my Fulbright to Uganda -- collaborating with Prof Edward Kaweesi and the Great Lakes Center for the Study of the United States at Makerere University in Kampala.
